Our History

Valkyrie Company is built on a strong family legacy in the Kurdistan industrial sector. The foundation was laid through Taha Factory, a family-owned business that has been engaged in manufacturing since 2005, while the family’s involvement in trading and firefighting equipment manufacturing dates back to the 1990s. This long-standing expertise created a solid base of knowledge, craftsmanship, and trust that continues to shape our company today.

Under the visionary leadership of the late Ahmed Wajdi, owner of Valkyrie Company, we achieved landmark milestones that positioned us as a trusted name in the industry. Among these achievements is the design and fabrication of the largest oilfield flare system in Iraq, a project that stands as a testament to his dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Though he is no longer with us, Ahmed Wajdi’s legacy continues to inspire Valkyrie’s path forward. Guided by the foundation he built, the company has expanded its capabilities, supplying vital oilfield materials to major operators across Kurdistan and Iraq, and steadily extending its reach to international markets.

As a second-generation family-owned business, Valkyrie remains committed to carrying forward this vision of quality, innovation, and integrity—investing in modern manufacturing and global partnerships to meet the evolving demands of the industries we serve.
